The North West Virtual Jobs Fair is taking place on Thursday 4th March from 10am-2pm

Anyone who would like to attend the event needs to register online- the link to register is now available on the website; it is also available on Jobcentre Online NI website's homepage under latest news and you can also visit the Jobs & Benefits NI Facebook page for more information

This is the department's first virtual jobs fair in the North West

At the event attendees can find job opportunities, interact with local employers online and improve employment prospects with practical advice and support

The virtual job fair will move the interaction between potential candidates and employers into the online environment and will allow employers to promote vacancies within their company as well as speak with candidate attendees using either the built in text or video chat. They intend to follow our previous physical jobs fair event format where possible but simply replacing the physical venue with the virtual environment.

There will be local organisations from the North West with current or upcoming vacancies participating in the event and the vacancies cover a range of sectors including factory and production, caring roles, professional & executive, catering & hospitality, customer service and working from home opportunities"

Vacancy information for each will be posted on Jobcentre Online prior to or from day of the event, if not a link to the employer's website will be available at the event.

There will be a sign posting service to local provision at the reception area which will be manned by the Employer Services Branch if there is anyone who feels they need any additional support.
