The Families Connect Programme is a Bespoke Save the Children Programme, funded by DFC and delivered by GSAP.

Parents will work with a GSAP and a school co-facilitator, for one-and-a-half hours per week. The children will join their parents for a 30 minute activity session each week, where the principles of Families Connect are put into action.

The Families Connect programme is for parents and carers with at least one child who is aged between 4-6 years old. The programme aims to support parents and carers, to enhance their child’s learning, by providing a series of activities, techniques and games ,parents and carers can also  practice with their children, whilst in the home environment.

The Families Connect Programme consists of  8 Workshops and they focus on Social & Emotional Development Language & Communication, Numeracy & Mathematics.

Lots of lovely treats were provided by the 2 schools for the events.
