Big Thanks You to Save the Children who delivered Family Activity Packs to the Ballyarnett DEA Community Support Team this morning

The packs with activities, tips and inspiration for you and your children during lockdown will be given to local community playgroups and Nursery Schools (based within the Ballyarnett DEA) this week for distribution alongside PEPPA PIG Actvity Packs.

This week, Friday Focus met the inspirational young Browne family from Shantallow.

Each week we will be spending time with members of our Shantallow Community, and getting to know their truly inspirational stories. Kicking off our new feature is Teresa O’Neill, known to us as one of Derry’s leading Zumba instructors, qualifying at the age of 40. Teresa is married with 6 children and 4 grandchildren and enjoys dancing, fitness and socialising with her friends. She is from Shantallow and an ex-pupil of St Brigid's Primary and St Brigid's High School.
