The Ballyarnett DEA Community Support Team has been set up by local community/charitable organisations to provide a co-ordinated, central and community response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We are calling on you our local residents/suppliers/businesses/partners to support us with essential household supplies (including food, personal and household hygiene products, baby products, home heating) or donations.

We aim to provide essential supplies to those individuals and/or families who are currently the most vulnerable in our community and have no other form of support at this time.

A Community Helpline for residents living within Galliagh, Shantallow, Skeoge, Pennyburn, Carnhill and Culmore area, went live this morning Thursday 19th March 2020.

The Community Helpline will remain open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (subject to continuous review based on demand) and will be managed by core community staff/volunteers.

To take any donations e.g. food supplies, baby products, hygiene products etc. we have set up a central base at M20 Northside Village Centre, Glengalliagh Road, Derry, BT48 8NN.

You can contact us on 02871358787 / [email protected] /

Any donation is welcome to enable us to buy essential supplies which will be made available over the coming weeks and months for those most in need
