GSAP is pleased to launch their new website, www.shantallow.net, to provide residents, visitors, member groups and partner organizations with more up to date, comprehensive and easy-to-find information on the ongoing work of the charity, our programmes and services and the range of ongoing developments in the Greater Shantallow Area.

Now you can read the latest news and events, check out our latest programmes, access information on services available in the local community, book online for training programmes, sign up for our newsletter and much more.

“This website an important way for us to share information about the ongoing community development activity, resources and projects in the Greater Shantallow Area with residents and visitors alike,” said Peter Mc Donald. Chairperson of GSAP.

GSAP’s Project Manager, Ciara Ferguson commented that “The site's refreshed and simplified look, combined with enhanced content, improved search functionality, and optimization for mobile devices ensures an easier and more engaging experience for users and allows residents and groups to better interact with GSAP online”. She noted that from April 2017 the GSAP website has had 13,000 individual users and 37,616 page views with 78% of users accessing the site through their mobile, followed by 15.2% from their desktop and 6.7% from their tablet.

GSAP would like to thank The Transform Foundation (a registered charity whose money comes from philanthropists and trusts with an interest in improving the not-for-profit sector's use of digital) who provided GSAP with a tech grant to make it possible and all the team at Raising IT who helped GSAP over a 3 month period to design and build the website on the Raising IT platform.
