Targeted Open Call

Seeking Members to join the 8 Local Community Growth Partnership Boards

Have you the energy and commitment to get involved in the development of your community.

This is an opportunity to do so;

Derry City and Strabane District Council is leading the way in Local Community Planning, one of only two Councils taking community planning to a local level.  Following a comprehensive, co-design consultation process the Local Community Growth Partnerships will oversee service delivery at a local level.

The implementation of this innovative process will ensure social, economic and environmental interventions are achieved for local people at a local level by working collaboratively through effective partnerships to achieve long term results.

The commitment to develop 8 local community growth partnerships for the Derry City and Strabane District Council area will ensure that people and communities are genuinely involved in the decisions which affect them.

The 8 Local Community Planning areas are;

Derg,

Faughan,

Strabane Town,
