Families Connect recognises the key role parents play in the education of their children and the value in creating a home environment that is conducive to learning. Families Connect 8 week programmer will focuses on three key areas:

1) Social and emotional development

2) Literacy & language development

3) Numeracy and mathematics

Week 1 at pennyburn began with the Focus on Feelings Workshop.

                 

                

Parents worked with their children using Save the Children's resources to promote the development of skills that will help them manage their feelings.
