Who we are News Ballyarnett DEA Community Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Ballyarnett DEA Community Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Do you live in the Galliagh, Shantallow, Carnhill, Skeoge, Culmore or Pennyburn Area? The community sector met this morning to plan a community response consistent with health advice and aimed at helping vulnerable & isolated people/families. This is a time when we all must look out for each other and keep in regular contact by telephone/email with any of our neighbours who are elderly, living on their own or self isolating and those members of our community who are ill or have underlying medical conditions. From today, local community organisations within the Greater Shantallow Area are organising a co-ordinated support service for those most in need over the coming weeks. If you or someone you know has no other support to rely on at this time we will be setting up a local helpline and will have dedicated volunteers who will help out in any way we can. Please note that all our support will be done on a NON CONTACT basis. We will continue to update you all on the agreed plans and actions in the coming days.
